We're now looking for a Fabrication Technician to join our passionate, skilled team.

About the Role

As a Fabrication Technician, you'll be a key part of our production team, fabricating and finishing high-quality bespoke frames using a wide range of traditional and contemporary methods. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and a seamless client experience, working closely with the Workshop Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finishing, waxing and spraying frames to a high standard

  • Ensuring all products meet museum-standard conservation requirements

  • Collaborating with the design team to bring creative ideas to life

  • Quality control: checking specifications, materials, and finishes

  • Regularly updating internal systems to track progress

  • Coordinating with finishing, fitting, and mounting departments to streamline workflow

  • Supporting continuous improvement in quality and efficiency

  • Maintaining a safe, clean and professional workshop environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in woodworking and fabrication (preferably in a framing or conservation context)

  • Additional finishing/spraying experience preferable

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Solid understanding of health & safety standards in a workshop setting

  • A flexible approach to working hours, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed
